Innovative Ideas

One thing people look for in a candidate, in addition to what they have to offer as part of the cabinet, is the ideas they have to make the Academy even better. Here are a few of mine:

Patriot Directory

Suppose you decide you are going to run for state representative. You need people to work on your campaign, how do you find them? Ask your local party chairman? That would work, except you don’t know the person who would be handling your campaign. What if there were a place you could go and find people both amateur and professional, people who you know have character and principles. What if you could find Patriot Academy grads to build your website, manage your campaign, design your literature, etc. I would like to create a private online database, only accessible by other Patriot Alumni where Patriots can list their skills and professions.

Online Academy Rules Repository

You are sitting on the house floor and a bill that you do not like is up for debate, you wan’t to do everything possible to keep it from passing. So naturally you open your binder and hunt down your copy of the rules. But alas, by the time you found what you were looking for the author has already moved passage. Too bad you cant just search the rules and find exactly what you are looking for. Wait, what if you could? And what if you could look it up on your laptop? Or your tablet? Or even your phone? That is exactly what I aim to do with The Patriot Rules Online Repository. This site should be live in time for Patriot Academy 2012!

Well, we have already accomplished this one! Lets accomplish a bunch more this year!
